Vertical froth pumps - Zimaksan Co

Vertical froth pumps

The separation of minerals methods requires highly advanced floating slurry pumps. For the first time in 1933, the use of an open vertical open pump was invented and unveiled in a floating plant in Sweden, and eventually used and developed over time.

In fact, because of the fact that it used very sophisticated circuits, the factory had no choice but to design and manufacture such a pomp. Previous pumps did not have the capability to perform the complex operation of the plant, especially since the reactors and control technology of these types of pumps were not so advanced and precise that they could be used for the various manufacturing operations that were present in the plant.

Previously, ordinary slurry pumps were used for these types of operations, which were always difficult due to changes in the froth of fluid in different parts of the circuit and the blockages of the pumps, and their practical use was both high cost and low efficiency.

Similar problems in other factories led to the further development of this type of slurry pump, which was equipped with an integrated food tank, and a de-aeration and self-regulation system for these pumps was also considered. The floating slurry pump is nowadays used as one of the most advanced types of pumps for specific purposes and operations.

The vertical tank pump of the reservoir uses an open sump and the pump itself is installed exactly under the reservoir in order to cover and protect the pump.

Container butterfly shaft, with the bearing chamber and drive are mounted on the tank, and the impeller in the compartment or the pump cabin turns casing. The slurry in the tank is fed to the “wet end” around the shaft and then directed towards the outlet horizontally. The floating slurry pump is designed in which there are no bolts and nuts or shaft or bearing seals inside and there is no component of the pump underwater or inside the water.

The vertical float pump is constructed vertically or, in other words, this type of pump has an open reservoir, whose pump is embedded and installed under the tank. Therefore, other components of the pump, such as the container butterfly shaft, the bearing compartment and the driver, are installed on top of the tank, and only the impeller pump is turned into the pump chamber to provide power to the pump.

The wet end points to the place in the pump, which feeds the reservoir and then pumps out of the pump horizontally. The structure of the vertical floating pump is generally integrated, and in its body and structure, no seals or bearings, and so on, have been used.

Perhaps the primary purpose of the production of vertical floating pumps was introduced compressed slurry flows and as a froth submersible pump, but today these types of pumps are made in models, structures and even different capacities, and are used for different purposes. Generally, two types of vertical pumps VT and VS are used separately, mainly for froth pumping and then for other purposes.

The VT slurry pumps have a pump and an integrated tank. In the production of these pumps, the reservoir is connected as a main part to the pump, or, in fact, the pump is embedded to the end of the tank, taking into account a pump connection hole with the reservoir.

This hole causes the air to accumulate around the butterfly, and this air is used for simple propeller movement and eventually moves upwards along the shaft.

The main features of vertical floating pumps can be their unparalleled resistance to abrasion. These pumps are completely standard and safe and their structure is integrated. Vertical floating pumps The Zymaxon Industrial Group has a new, highly precise design that is made in a variety of different spectra and models that are completely customizable for various purposes.

This has led our customers to tailor specific pumps to their specific needs and, at their own expense, greatly improve the efficiency and performance of these pumps. Vertical slurry pumps have a great deal of efficiency, which make them work efficiently, and this is very important for reducing operating costs and raising margins.

In the Zimaxon Industrial Group it is possible for customers to order their vertical slurry pumps in the following ways:

  • Floating slurry pumps designed and manufactured in full with metal parts or rubber parts.
  • Selection of flexible and integrated floating slurry pumps
  • Ability to choose a variety of options for “Wet End”

The benefits of modern fluid pumps:

  • Possibility of selecting and replacing special parts for them
  • In the floating part of these pumps, an inertial and precise cantilever is used to easily protect the bearings and shaft seals.
  • Possibility to choose low speed or high capacity pump head
  • Having the least amount pulsation and vibration

Vertical tank pumps are ideal for the following applications:

  • For pumping in different floors and different heights
  • For pumping on a scale of a variety of industrial and non-industrial plants
  • Use as a pump for mill ball or any other mill machines
  • Used for use as a pump machine tool cutting
  • For use as wood chip pump
  • For use as a mixing pump in a material composition or material distribution
  • In order to create Air entrained slurries
  • For use as concrete and welding mixer pump
